WOODWORKING RETREAT IN THE CASCADES

In the fall of 2021, my fellow classmates and I got to take a camping trip in the cascades of northern Washington. We stayed at the Rolling Huts: A group of semi permanent structures where people can camp. On that property, we were tasked with designing a retreat center for kids from the city, where they would be able to design canoes and go hiking along the river. My design took a dynamic approach to styling that also tried to minimize any barriers to the outside environment.
